Well, Mt. Bruce was good to us patient pilots today. My first flight seemed to be heading towards a sleddie but I managed to scratch around on my way out and hooked a nice one that took me right up to cloud base. I watched Charlie and Rick find similar lift and eventually they soared past me as I had to leave lift in order to stay out of the white room. All had good flights so we decided to go up for more. Many thanks to Kuno for our first run up! Second round Jayson launched first after a few ' over the back' cycles which turned into excellent up the front cycles. Charlie was next and then Rick. I had some line tangles which tested my patience while I felt about 5 cycles on my back! I launched, scratched around with Charlie just out from launch but with not much luck. I was just getting ready to head out when I found something and worked some figure eights until I got high enough and boom!! Off to cloudbase again! I eventually crossed the valley where I met up with 5 baldies and 4meters/ second lift! Life everywhere!! I then headed to the Maxwell LZ where Jayson had just landed and had a buoyant glide out and then some difficulty getting down to land! Wow, what a day, still smiling!

cheers, paul
