Strong southerlies = happy pilots :)

I have been a full time paragliding instructor and tandem pilot for many years now and, naturally, people think I fly every day - sometimes all day long - while they slave away at their day jobs, longing for the weekend.

I spent the day today putting a sub floor in the new ParaHangar and arrived at Dallas around 5pm. Turns out that Rick, Paul, Charlie, Amir, Phil, Bruce, Annelies, Pierre and....? had already flown HOURS between them. I'm pretty sure that Phil is the only one among them who has the luxury of being gainfully unemployed, so how do they do it? Creative schedule juggling, spur of the moment important meetings, sudden sickness, etc. I'm sure.

Special congrats to Rick on his first real apartment soaring session with his buddy Paul and Belated Birthday wishes to Grant.

And welcome back to the air Torge! After suffering a back country skiing injury this past winter, he had his first flight (short and safe) today - aircast and all!

The wind was pretty west and strong by the time I showed up but I did manage to take Grant for his first Dallas tandem. There ya go.
