Paul, Charlie, and I get some Dallas Air!

After missing out on the great sunset soaring at Dallas the other night, I was keen to spend most of the day down at the bluffs with a promising forecast of moderate south westerlies.

Paul and I flew in the morning and got the straightest and liftiest winds of the day.
In the early afternoon it swung west but still provided a workable lift band which Charlie, Paul, and myself flew off and on until nearly 4pm.

I had a few different gliders in the Delica and it was nice to be able to fly one, land, and then fly another - just to feel the differences in speed, sink, and glide. I also test flew the new beginner/intermediate harness by Kortel: the KARMA. Very well built and quite comfy - I like it!
