I had some free time today so I stopped by Dallas with my son Jaron to see if it was flyable. The sun was out and the wind direction was great and once in the air, it quickly became evident that it was 'on'.

With Jaron snapping pics from below, I got up higher than normal straight away and zoomed down to the apartments where I played in the smooth lift, entertaining strollers below. The air was so nice that I decided to head back to Finlayson Point where I hovered down and got the camera from Jaron.

Click image for Dallas Photoset #2It was a rare day for me to be able to fly solo as I'm usually doing tandems and training pilots at this time of the year so I took full advantage of it.
