Last summer, Kim and Justin did the DayTaster course with me and today they had their friends from Grande Prairie come out for tandem flights. The weather looked stormy in the morning (with lightning even!) but by the time we got to the mountain, it was sunny and hot.

I have to commend Romain on hiking down TWICE with the new 'pond liner' line protectors. Thanks Romain! (it works great, btw).

Kim and Justin made the hike down with their 3month old girl :) and found a nice spot in the shade from which to watch.

Tracy went first and did a great job running (we have video footage to be posted later). There wasn't a lot of lift to be found but we arrived over the landing zone with enough height for a spiral dive which Tracy enjoyed.

Back up for round two with Bart and the sun was cooking! We launched off on our first attempt and were soon sharing the cliffs with three turkey vultures. Bart was great in the air and good at weight-shifting which made the tight turns that much easier.

Like Tracy, Bart had a nice stand-up landing. A few minutes after we landed, a storm started to blow through from Fulford. Perfect timing!
