Luckily the heat somewhat subsided today as Steve, Bev, Maurice, and P.Mac all spent the day at the hill.

P.Mac tried some reverse launches when the wind permitted and you could see his confidence grow along with his skill.

Bev and Maurice put in a good number of flights. Step by step guys!

Deadpan Steve was a lot of fun as he wasted little time before flying off from the top of the hill - complete with a wave and yell down to P.Mac as he flew overhead,
"This is great!!"

Some June temperature records were broken today and yesterday on Vancouver Island and Bev and Maurice worked hard at the Training Hill despite the heat.

Variable conditions with switchy wind keep things interesting for them as they combined for 20 flights. Did I mention that their combined age is over 130yrs?

You two are inspirational to say the least!

Charlie joined us at the hill and released his brand new class 2 Airwave COBRA.
It was love at first bite.

After such a stellar flying day yesterday at Mt Prevost, we weren't that disappointed with the high pressure, northerly day we were greeted with today. The Training Hill was the place to be, somehow pulling in cycle after cycle of nice wind as the day went on.
