Goodbye to Galem!
After more good food, we bid farewell to the beautiful village of Galem and the retired Gurkha Major (incredible life history he has had). We arrived on launch earlier than the previous day but, again, Adam showed that conditions were unusually strong as he blasted up to cloud base.
"Too active folks", he radioed down. Bummer.

School Visit, Evening Glide
After a chilly night in our tents, we were greeted with a clear, crisp morning complete with a fresh blanket of snow on launch.

(Para)trekking up to the mountain village of Galem

After flying at two local sites (Sarangkot and Dickie Danda) for the last few days, it was time to leave Lakeside (Pokhara) and our cozy hotel rooms, internet access, and (sometimes) warm showers.
