Strong southerlies = happy pilots :)

I have been a full time paragliding instructor and tandem pilot for many years now and, naturally, people think I fly every day - sometimes all day long - while they slave away at their day jobs, longing for the weekend.

New Students Hans and Grant

The wind has been relentless on the southern part of the island these past two days so Hans and Grant have been learning how to control their gliders down low by 'building walls' and effectively killing their gliders. They have both shown good ability early on and I'm confident that this will translate into them becoming skilled pilots.

New students Grant and Hans joined in with Trask, Natalie, and Johnathan for a strong wind kiting session at Dallas today. Rick, Charlie, and I alternated between flying when conditions allowed and kiting or assisting the students.

Our first real taste of summer

A BIG crew of pilots took advantage of the warm and sunny Saturday weather and descended upon the training hill. We had nice wind conditions throughout the morning which allowed for multiple flights by all.
