Nearly 6 hours of airtime between Rick, Charlie, and Lee and a 45 min tandem flight for Jim!

First flights of the season from Prevost for myself, Grant, Lee, Rick, and Charlie

It was easier going through the snow up Mt Prevost today and, although the wind was still west, the cloud drift was much less than yesterday, so we were more hopeful this time.

VIParagliding-mobile extraordinaire: Mitsubishi Delica!

Even though there was strong west wind both on the ground and showing in the clouds, Lee, Charlie, Grant, and I boarded the Delica and gave Mt Prevost a shot. After the ATV adventure this past Saturday, it was enticing to see if we could drive up part way at least (it's been nearly 5 months since most of us have been up!).

Soaring from four (five) sites in one day!

Lower Bruce, Mt Prevost, Mt Maxwell, the Malahat, and the Training Hill all were flown this
past Saturday by various pilots (paraglider and hang glider) on a cloudless, blue thermal day.
